As Americans, our history is built with great minds hungry for change. We are a nation of those who stand for both equality and freedom.
Each February during Black History Month, we honor African Americans whom paved the way, even today, by standing for their dreams and rights. In the face of adversity, many men and women of color staked their claim in our country’s history by doing what was right, not what was easy.
It is for this reason alone we celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans in February and always!
