UME Supports Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 32

UME CEO Anne Marie Chapman was presented an acknowledgment award presented by Ivan Eitreim, Commander of Post 32, accompanied by Bill Atkins, Army Korean War grandfather of VFW Lansdale 32’s Kim Paul and Jim Hannon for her outstanding support and contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Home Town Warriors and our Armed Forces.

The mission of the VFW is to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts and to serve the military and its communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans. They ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and that they are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country. They have many programs and services that work to support veterans, service members and their families, as well as communities worldwide. To join the 1.6 members of the VFW and its auxiliary or to make a donation go to www.vfw.com for information. A $20 donation can help cover rent, utilities or groceries for a military family struggling with the hardships of war.

In receiving this award honoring our local VFW, we would be amiss if we did not mention our CEO’s father in law David H. Chapman.
David served our country from 1959 to 1962 during the Vietnam War.
We are grateful for all who have served and continue to serve our country.
