NEVER FORGET

“Time is passing. Yet for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and the ash, the last phone calls, the funeral of the children.”

-President George W. Bush

The 9/11 terrorist attacks killed 2,977 people and injured thousands at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

Today gives us all a time to reflect on this devastating attack. We commemorate those who we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line.

Each year, this day is dedicated to remembering those who risked their own lives to save others. Take a moment today to consider what we stand for as a nation and how we can work together to make the world a better place for all. This day will forever burn into our hearts and minds.
