National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is an annual international health campaign organized every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.
A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat.
