This past weekend UME participated in the 12th Annual Mater Dei Polar Plunge in Sea Isle, NJ. The goal is to raise money for tuition assistance at Mater Dei Catholic School. This fund helps parents who may have fallen ill or are out of work and unable to meet tuition costs. Since inception, they have raised over $200,000.00 for this cause.
Individually UME raised over $4,000, and took part in plunging into the icy waters of the Atlantic!!
